Striding Edge is the ultimate Lakeland ridge walk. Seen from above, this narrow rocky arête demands a steady nerve, its path tracing the crest before dipping and rising to a sharp summit. To the left, dark water sits in a steep-sided bowl, while layered fells recede beyond.

This design reimagines the dramatic landform as a layered papercut. Six planes of colour step back into the mist, moving from olive green rock to a deep indigo tarn and soft blue-grey horizons. From across a room, every crisp edge casts a soft shadow to build striking three-dimensional depth.

Ideal for a hallway or study, this print arrives framed and ready to hang. A black frame beautifully grounds the stormy blues of the water, while natural wood complements the organic greens. Part of a wider collection, it can be grouped with other papercut designs to map out favourite routes.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
