Striding Edge is a celebrated ridge walk in the high fells. From above, the narrow rocky arête carries a distinct path along its crest, dipping before rising to a sharp summit. The dark water of Red Tarn rests in the steep bowl below to the left, framed by pale fells fading into the distance.

This Muted Modern design reduces the dramatic crossing to chalky minimalism. The jagged spine and deep tarn become flat, graphic shapes rendered in a quiet palette of sand, oat, and sage. From across a room, the pale, snaking path commands attention above the clean, modernist typography.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, it makes a striking focal point for a stairwell or study. A natural wood frame perfectly echoes the earthy tones, while a black frame offers crisp contrast. As part of a wider series, it pairs effortlessly with other designs to build a hallway collection.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
