Striding Edge is the ultimate Lakeland challenge, a narrow rocky arête that tests the nerve of fell-walkers. Seen from above, the stone path snakes along the crest, dipping and rising to a sharp summit, with the dark water of a deep tarn in the bowl below and layered fells receding beyond.

This design channels the golden age of railway posters, reducing a complex scramble to bold, flat shapes. From across a room, the eye follows the bright, sunlit path, contrasting sharply with deep blue water and saturated green slopes under towering summer clouds.

Delivered framed and ready to hang, this vivid print commands attention in a hallway or study. A black frame perfectly anchors the clean typography at the foot of the design. Belonging to a wider series, it makes an excellent starting point for a gallery wall of favourite summit routes.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
