The view of Ullswater from Gowbarrow Fell is a classic Lake District reward. From a rocky crag in the foreground, the water doglegs gracefully between overlapping fells toward the Helvellyn range. On the right, a wooded promontory reaches into the lake, anchoring a scene walkers know by heart.

This design reimagines the vista as a meticulous layered papercut. Built from six receding planes, the landscape steps back from deep greens and slate blues into a misty, pale distance. Sweeping contours appear to cast subtle three-dimensional shadows, creating a bold graphic depth that reads beautifully from across a sitting room.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this print makes a commanding statement on a hallway or stairwell wall. A natural wood frame warms the cool aquatic tones, while white enhances its crisp edges. Part of a wider papercut series, it sits perfectly alongside other destinations as a curated set.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
