Looking down the length of Ullswater from the fells above is a classic Lakeland reward. A rocky crag anchors the foreground, while the lake doglegs between overlapping ridges toward the distant peaks. To the right, a thickly wooded promontory reaches deeply into the water.

The design reimagines the familiar valley through the fractured lens of Cubism. Rugged fells are shattered into faceted planes of earthy ochres, deep greens, and slate greys, presenting the landscape from several angles at once. Reduced to bold, interlocking shapes, the poster carries the graphic weight of vintage railway art.

Bringing a dynamic, structural edge to a study or open stairwell, this print arrives framed and ready to hang. A black frame perfectly sharpens its geometric outlines, while natural wood warms the earthy palette. Part of a wider cubist series, it is designed to be collected or hung as a bold set.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
