Looking down the dog-legging reach of Ullswater from a rocky crag, the view takes in the full sweep of the valley. Overlapping fells drop steeply into the water, drawing the eye toward the distant mountain range, while a wooded promontory reaches out below.

The artwork revives the vintage railway poster tradition, reducing complex geology to bold, graphic shapes. Vivid, flat colours define the scene: a brilliant blue sky, striking clouds, and saturated fellsides in greens and rusts. From across a room, the bright sunlit foreground pops powerfully against the deep, sweeping lake.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece brings a vibrant focal point to a hallway or stairwell. A natural wood frame beautifully echoes the golden foreground bracken, warming the crisp blues of the water. Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
