Stand at the rocky shoreline of Wastwater and look towards Wasdale Head. The still lake mirrors the valley perfectly: the pyramid of Yewbarrow on the left, Great Gable centred, and the Scafells rising to the right. It is a plunging landscape that draws walkers back year after year.

This design reimagines the view as six planes of cut paper receding into mist. Angular layers of indigo and muted green build the fells, each edge casting a soft shadow to create a three-dimensional illusion. From across a room, these bold shapes lock together into a striking graphic scene.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
