From the rocky shoreline of Wastwater, you face the definitive Lakeland panorama. The deep, still lake perfectly mirrors a ring of giants: the steep pyramid of Yewbarrow on the left, Great Gable centred at the valley head, and the massive Scafells rising sharply to the right.

This design reimagines that famous vista through the strict lens of the Bauhaus. The dramatic landscape is reduced to pure, primary geometry on a rigorous grid. Sharp blue and red triangles meet intersecting blocks of bright yellow and deep black, creating a bold, graphic poster that commands attention from across a room.

Hang this uncompromising print in a modern kitchen or above a desk where its vivid colours can anchor the space. It arrives framed and ready to hang. A black frame sharply defines the artwork's geometric boundaries, while white enhances its primary brilliance. Collect it alongside other geometric pieces to build a striking mid-century gallery wall.

Sizes

30 × 40 cm — 12 × 16 in

45 × 60 cm — 18 × 24 in

50 × 70 cm — 20 × 28 in

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural wood.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

The Bauhaus series

Primary geometry on a strict grid — the fells as circles, triangles and blocks

The landscape put through the Bauhaus: circles, triangles and hard rectangles on a strict grid, in primary red, cobalt and chrome yellow. Severe, cheerful and utterly modern — it suits a plain wall and a room with no clutter.
