Standing on the rocky shoreline of Wastwater at Wasdale Head offers a view straight into the heart of the fells. The still lake mirrors the surrounding giants: the pyramid of Yewbarrow to the left, the Scafells to the right, and Great Gable centred at the valley head.

This design captures the scene in a hard frost, reducing the towering geology to sharp, graphic shapes. Interlocking planes of snow, slate and ice blue are warmed by a single streak of cold pink in the sky. Stripped of detail, this bold symmetry and stark typography read powerfully from across the room.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
