Wastwater at Wasdale Head draws those seeking the grandest scale of the fells. From the rocky shoreline, the view commands the eye: the steep pyramid of Yewbarrow on the left, Great Gable centred at the valley head, and the vast flanks of the Scafells to the right.

This impressionist treatment dissolves the dramatic landscape into broken colour and shimmering light. Free of hard outlines, the heavy rock and deep water are rendered in shifting dabs of lilac, gold, and slate grey. From across a room, these painterly marks blend to reveal a perfect reflection on the lake.

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
