A tall, narrow force drops powerfully through a wooded rock gorge into a dark pool below. Walkers pause on the small stone footbridge spanning the top of the drop, looking down through the dense trees and ferns that line both banks to mark a classic Lakeland walk.

The design reduces this deep gorge to sweeping, chalky modern minimalism. Rendered in a muted palette of sand, oat, and sage, the plunging white water cuts a sharp vertical line through layered, rocky banks. From across a room, the arched footbridge and structured foreground ferns emerge boldly.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this print brings earthy warmth to a hallway or study. The natural wood frame complements the oat and sage tones perfectly, while a black frame grounds the darker shades. It joins a wider Muted Modern series, perfect for collecting as a coordinated set.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
