Aira Force drops sheer through a wooded rock gorge into a dark pool below. Walkers are drawn up through the woods to the small stone footbridge spanning the top of this tall, narrow waterfall, where dense trees and ferns cling to both steep banks to frame the rushing water.

The design adopts the sharp tradition of vintage railway posters, re-imagining the gorge in a hard winter frost. From across a room, it reads as bold, overlapping geometric shapes in slate grey and ice blue, anchored by a brilliant white column of falling water and a single cold pink sun.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this striking piece commands attention on a stairwell or study wall. A black frame cleanly defines the dark slate shadows, while a white frame highlights the icy force and snowy sky. Part of a wider series, it works beautifully alone or collected as a set of three.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
