Ashness Bridge is an old stone packhorse bridge spanning a rocky beck in the foreground. Walkers pause here to take in an iconic view, looking down the steep fellside as it drops to the wide water far below, with a great mountain massif rising beyond.

This layered papercut design reduces the landscape to six distinct planes of colour. From the heavy boulders and sturdy arch, the scene recedes into mist. Across a room, the eye is drawn to a striking illusion of depth, where each sharply cut edge appears to cast a soft shadow onto the hazy blue peaks.

Hang this piece in a hallway or above a desk to open up the space. Arriving framed and ready to hang, it looks excellent in a natural wood frame that echoes the rich greens of the fellside. Collect it alongside others in the papercut series to build a bold gallery wall.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
