Ashness Bridge is a celebrated Lakeland viewpoint, drawing walkers to its ancient stones. A traditional packhorse bridge arches over a rocky beck, with the fellside dropping steeply behind it to reveal a broad lake and distant mountain massif. It is the perfect place to pause and take in the sheer scale of the landscape.

This design reimagines the crossing through an elegant Art Nouveau lens. The old bridge and rushing water are reduced to flowing whiplash curves, held within an intricate ornamental border. Rendered in a soft palette of sage green, dusty rose, and muted gold, the artwork reads beautifully from across a room, capturing the organic movement of the fells.

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural wood.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.
