Ashness Bridge is a traditional stone packhorse bridge arching over a rocky beck. It draws walkers seeking that classic viewpoint, standing where the fellside plunges to the deep water below, framed by a rising mountain massif beyond.

This design reimagines the vista through strict Bauhaus geometry. Built on a rigid grid, the landscape is reduced to bold primary shapes. Brilliant blues, reds, and yellows form solid blocks of colour, transforming fells into sharp triangles and the historic bridge into interlocking semi-circles and squares. From across a room, it reads as a striking modernist statement.

Ready to hang on arrival, it brings instant graphic impact to a hallway or study. A stark black frame perfectly sharpens the intense geometric contrasts, while natural wood suits a mid-century scheme. Belonging to a wider series, it sits beautifully alone or hung as a trio of favourite locations.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
