Blencathra's broad saddleback summit is a legendary Lakeland prize, rising sharply above quiet valley pastures to draw walkers up its dramatic ridges. In the foreground meadow, the ancient standing stones of the Castlerigg circle offer a grounded contrast, separated from the lower slopes by a dark, sheltering line of trees.

This Art Nouveau treatment frames the landscape within an elegant ornamental border of whiplash curves and stylised flora. Read from across a room, the design resolves into bold, harmonious blocks of sage green, soft rose and muted gold, capturing the historic romance of the poster tradition.

Striking above a study desk or anchoring a stairwell, this piece arrives framed and ready to hang. A natural wood frame beautifully echoes the muted gold of the border, while black sharpens its flowing curves. It belongs to a wider series, perfect for collecting as a set of three.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
