Coniston Water stretches long and straight beneath the great whaleback ridge rising along its far side. Viewed down its length from a wooded eastern shore, the lake draws walkers and sailors who know its quiet appeal. A wooden jetty and moored boat sit in the foreground, waiting for the weather.

The design reimagines the scene through the elegant lens of Art Nouveau. From across a room, the eye catches sinuous whiplash curves of an ornamental border framing the view. Water and fell are reduced to flowing lines in a vintage palette of sage, soft rose, and antique gold, anchored by classic typography.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this poster brings Lakeland heritage to a stairwell or sitting room. A natural wood frame beautifully complements the design's earthy tones. It hangs perfectly on its own, or collected alongside other places in the series for a striking gallery wall.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
