Blencathra dominates the northern fells, its broad saddleback summit rising sheer above valley pastures. Walkers know this profile intimately, pausing where ancient standing stones form a silent circle in the meadow. A dark line of trees separates the low pasture from the dramatic ascent.

This design reimagines the landscape through the primary geometry of the Bauhaus movement. The fell is reduced to intersecting blue and yellow triangles, anchored by strict grid lines and solid colour blocks. Below, the stones become a rhythmic sequence of bold monoliths set against a striking horizontal tree line, designed to catch the eye from across the room.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece brings modernist energy to a hallway, stairwell or study. A black wood frame sharply defines the geometric grid and echoes the dark trees perfectly. Designed as part of a wider series, it makes a brilliant standalone statement or pairs beautifully as a set of three.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
