Blencathra’s broad saddleback summit rises sharply above the valley pastures, offering a distinctly recognisable Lakeland profile. In the foreground meadow, the standing stones of the Castlerigg circle anchor the landscape, separated from the imposing fell by a dark, striking line of trees.

This design reimagines the scene through Cubism, fracturing the landscape into faceted planes seen from several angles at once. The fell is reduced to interlocking shards of earthy ochre, muted green, and slate grey. From across a room, the sharp shadows of the stones and the mountain's geometry form a bold, highly structured composition.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece commands attention above a sitting room fireplace or a study desk. A black frame pairs perfectly with the dark typography, sharpening its modernist edge. Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
