Windermere stretches as a broad lake curving away between wooded shores. It is the defining water of the district, where visitors watch familiar launches cross the surface, navigating past small islands mid-water toward the serrated profile of the high fells on the far horizon.

This design reimagines the landscape through a bold Cubist lens, fracturing the fells into faceted planes seen from several angles at once. Earthy ochres, deep greens, and slate blues lock together in sharp, interlocking triangles that read cleanly from across a room, anchored by classic railway-style typography.

Striking above a desk or commanding a stairwell, this framed poster arrives ready to hang. A black frame sharply defines its intersecting lines, while a natural wood option grounds the earthy palette. As part of a wider series, it looks magnificent hung alone or collected as a set.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
