Great Gable is a massive pyramid peak of grey crags, drawing fell-baggers to its commanding summit. Wide fans of scree cascade down steep slopes to the valley floor, where thin winding paths meet at the valley head below.

This cubist treatment fractures the fell into faceted planes, showing the mountain from several angles at once. From across a room, the peak resolves into a bold geometric arrangement of slate blues and earthy ochres. It updates the classic railway poster tradition, reducing complex topography to interlocking shapes over a crisp line of typography.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece commands attention above a study desk or along a hallway. A black frame sharply defines the poster's angular edges, while a natural wood moulding complements the earthy lower slopes. Part of a wider series, it is perfect for collecting or hanging as a cohesive set.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
