Blencathra’s broad saddleback summit rises sharply above valley pastures, dominating the skyline. It is a view defined by ancient lines, looking past heavy standing stones in the foreground meadow and across a dark line of trees to the vast, mountainous mass beyond.

This design reimagines the fell through Cubism, fracturing the landscape into faceted planes. Seen from multiple angles, the scene reduces to intersecting geometry in earthy ochres, deep greens, and slate greys, anchored by the bold typography of classic railway prints. From across a room, the summit's architectural weight perfectly balances the solid, shadowed stones below.

Striking in a modern hallway or above a study desk, this framed poster arrives ready to hang. A natural wood frame pulls warmth from the meadow tones, while a black frame sharpens the deep, fractured shadows. Part of a wider series, it sits handsomely alone or hung as a matching set.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
