A Sunday fell for little feet,
But steep enough to make you stop,
Where scrambling hands and trainers meet
The bare rock just below the top.

Below, the islands, dark with trees,
Lie on the water, three or four,
And Skiddaw, broad-backed, takes the breeze
Behind the town on the far shore.

We eat our sandwiches and stay
Until the wind begins to bite,
Then catch the launch at end of day,
Still holding on to all that light.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
