Haystacks is a famously knobbled fell, distinguished by its labyrinthine summit of rocky knolls and small pools. Walkers are drawn to this intricate terrain, picking a path through the rugged landscape that looks out toward the steep walls of the surrounding ridges.

This design reimagines the complex summit as a landscape of impossible geometry. Rendered with dense monochromatic hatching, the artwork transforms the crags into a world of optical illusions and endless stone staircases. From across a room, the eye is caught by the central tarn, where a swirling tessellation of fish seamlessly rises from the water to take flight as birds.

An arresting piece for a study or stairwell, this print invites closer inspection. It arrives framed and ready to hang. A black frame perfectly anchors the intricate linework, while natural wood subtly warms the bold composition. Part of a wider Lake District series, it hangs beautifully as a standalone statement or gathered in a set.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
