Haystacks is a classic fell, defined by its knobbled summit of rocky knolls and small pools. A high tarn rests in a hollow among them, while a steep ridge rises across the valley beyond. Walkers choose this piece to mark a summit they know by heart.

This design uses the Japanese woodblock style. The rugged terrain is reduced to layered colour—muted greens and deep blues—defined by a quiet key line. Above the water, a soft gradient sky transitions into rich azure. From across a room, the bold typography echoes classic railway posters.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this print suits a hallway or sitting room. A natural wood frame complements the earthy summit tones, while black sharpens the vintage lettering. Part of a wider Lakeland series, it can be hung alone or collected to build a gallery.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
