Stickle Tarn sits in a high bowl directly below the Langdale Pikes. Walkers climb here to look up at the sheer crag face of Pavey Ark rising from the dark water, flanked by Harrison Stickle's distinctive peak to the left and rough moor grass in the foreground.

This monochrome design reimagines the familiar skyline through intricate ink hatching and impossible geometry. From across a room, it reads as a striking black-and-white landscape. Up close, a tessellation of fish emerges from the tarn, morphing into dark birds taking flight against stair-cut crags and a continuous, twisting knot of stone.

An intricate focal point for a study or stairwell, this piece arrives framed and ready to hang. A black wood frame perfectly matches the stark, dense linework of the print. As part of a wider travel poster series, it sits beautifully alone or grouped with others to form a striking collection.

Sizes

30 × 40 cm — 12 × 16 in

45 × 60 cm — 18 × 24 in

50 × 70 cm — 20 × 28 in

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

The Escher series

Ink hatching and impossible geometry, with a tessellation rising from the water

Precise ink hatching, rock strata that interlock impossibly, and a tessellation of birds emerging from the water's reflection. Black on cream, and rewarding to stand close to.
