A steep climb rewards walkers with the mountain bowl of Stickle Tarn, lying dark below the Langdale Pikes. The sheer crag face of Pavey Ark rises abruptly behind the water, flanked by the peak of Harrison Stickle to the left, framed by rough foreground moor grass.

This vivid poster captures the scene using the bold visual language of heritage railway art. Complex rock faces are reduced to striking graphic planes of olive, ochre and terracotta, contrasting with the deep blue tarn and stylised clouds. From across a room, the flat colours and large, clean typography instantly command attention.

Perfect for a hallway or above a study desk, the print arrives framed and ready to hang. A natural wood frame beautifully echoes the golden tones of the fell grass. Designed as part of a wider collection, it works wonderfully alone or hung in a bold set of three.

Sizes

30 × 40 cm — 12 × 16 in

45 × 60 cm — 18 × 24 in

50 × 70 cm — 20 × 28 in

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural wood.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
