The steep ascent to this high bowl reveals a dark tarn resting directly beneath the Langdale Pikes. Walkers know this amphitheatre well, standing among the moor grass to study the sheer crag face and the prominent peak to the left before beginning the final scramble.

This Impressionist design captures the scene through broken colour and dissolving light, abandoning hard outlines. From across a room, it reads as a shimmering block of atmosphere. Deep blues and purples of the high crags reflect softly in the water, contrasting with the sun-caught ochres of the foreground.

A striking addition to a hallway or sitting room, it brings the fells indoors. The poster arrives framed and ready to hang. Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
