Reaching the roof of England is a hard-won reward for any fell-walker. Scafell Pike is a broad, boulder-strewn summit dome of grey rock under a wide sky. From here, a deep gulf falls away to the right toward a sheer crag wall, with ridges of lower fells layering into the distance.

This design captures the summit in a hard frost, echoing the great vintage railway posters. From across a room, the landscape is reduced to bold geometric shapes of snow and slate. Deep ice-blue shadows cut across the boulder field, contrasting sharply against a sky warmed by one band of cold pink.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
