The ultimate test for many walkers, Striding Edge is a narrow rocky arête that commands absolute focus. Seen from above, the path along its crest dips before rising sharply to the summit. A dark tarn sits in the bowl below to the left, framed by layered fells receding beyond.

This design reimagines the traverse as Constructivist agitation. The fell is reduced to hard diagonals in a striking palette of red, black, slate, and cream. From across a room, the sheer drop is amplified by sharp, contrasting planes that capture the pure adrenaline of the crossing.

A brilliant statement piece for a stairwell or study. It arrives framed and ready to hang, looking incredibly powerful in a black frame that anchors the heavy rock shadows. As part of a wider travel poster series, it can be collected alongside other conquered Lakeland heights.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Delivery and returns

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
