Striding Edge is an exhilarating, narrow rocky arête demanding focus and a head for heights. Walkers trace the path along its crest, dipping and rising to reach a sharp summit, with the dark water of a high tarn pooled in the bowl below and layered fells receding beyond.

This poster rebuilds that famous ascent through the strict geometry of the Bauhaus movement. The landscape is reduced to a bold grid of intersecting triangles and blocks. From across a room, the sheer ridge reads as a dramatic, high-contrast graphic in uncompromising primary reds, blues, yellows, and deep blacks.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this striking piece commands attention on a bright stairwell or study wall. A black solid wood frame perfectly grounds the heavy geometric weight of the design. Belonging to a wider series, it works brilliantly alone or grouped with matching prints to form a vibrant Lakeland triptych.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
