A rocky crag provides the definitive vantage point over Ullswater. From here, the water doglegs sharply between overlapping fells, drawing the eye deep down the valley. A wooded promontory reaches into the lake, marking the turn in the great zigzag of water that walkers know by heart.

This design applies a Constructivist treatment to the famous view, stripping the landscape to pure geometry. Hard, agitated diagonals in striking red, deep black and cream reduce the fells to sharp, intersecting planes. From across a room, the stark angles read as a powerful graphic statement.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this strong piece commands attention in a study or stairwell. A black wood frame is the natural choice here, anchoring the heavy lines and sharp contrasts of the print. Part of a wider series, it sits perfectly alongside other striking Lakeland designs.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
