The view of Ullswater from Gowbarrow Fell is a classic reward for walkers. A rocky crag anchors the foreground while the water stretches away, doglegging between overlapping fells toward the Helvellyn range, framed by a wooded promontory reaching in from the right.

This design reimagines the landscape through the strict geometry of the Bauhaus movement. The fells are reduced to bold triangles in vivid primary colours, while the foreground crags become solid, intersecting blocks. Against the flat blue lake, the trees are rendered as a neat line of circles, creating a striking image that reads instantly from across a room.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
