Aira Force is a tall, narrow waterfall plunging through a steep rock gorge. Visitors gather below to watch the water crash into a dark pool, or cross the small stone footbridge spanning the very top of the falls, surrounded on both banks by thick ferns and dense trees.

The design reimagines the scene through the Japanese woodblock tradition. Across a room, the white vertical of the waterfall stands out against the muted, layered colours of the gorge. A soft gradient sky and a quiet key line define the bridge, reducing the complex woodland into flat, rhythmic shapes.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this print brings strong vertical lines to a hallway or stairwell. A natural wood frame complements the earthy tree tones, while black echoes the dark pool. As part of a wider series, it easily hangs alongside other locations as a set.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
