Aira Force draws walkers deep into a wooded rock gorge to feel the sheer power of the water. Here, a tall, narrow waterfall drops heavily into a dark pool, spanned at its crest by a small stone footbridge. It is an enclosed hollow of damp ferns and dense trees clinging to the steep banks.

This design captures the force through the layered colour and quiet key lines of the Japanese woodblock tradition. From across a room, the stark white ribbon of water commands attention, framed by muted woodland greens and heavy, shadowed rock. Above, soft gradient skies gently offset the dark canopy.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece brings natural depth to a stairwell or hallway. A natural wood frame beautifully complements the earthy, forested palette. Belonging to a wider series, it sits perfectly alongside other Lakeland prints to build a gallery of cherished landscapes.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Every poster is printed and framed to order, at the production facility closest to your delivery address.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
