Ashness Bridge is an iconic viewpoint, anchored by an old packhorse bridge spanning a rocky beck. Here, the fellside drops dramatically to reveal the lake far below and a towering massif rising beyond. Walkers pause at this very spot to take in the sheer, plunging scale of the landscape.

This design reimagines the scene through the bold lens of Constructivist art. The tumbling water and sweeping fells are reduced to hard diagonals in stark black, cream, and industrial red. From across a room, it reads as pure visual agitation—a radical, high-energy interpretation that strips the view down to its essential geometric core.

A striking statement piece for a stairwell or study, this print arrives framed and ready to hang. A solid black frame sharply amplifies the heavy graphic shadows, while natural wood offers a warmer counterpoint to the severe palette. Belonging to a broader series, it is perfect for building a vibrant, modern collection.

Sizes

30 × 40 cm — 12 × 16 in

45 × 60 cm — 18 × 24 in

50 × 70 cm — 20 × 28 in

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural wood.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
