Ashness Bridge draws walkers and photographers to its old stone packhorse arches year after year. The eye follows the tumbling waters of a rocky beck, down the steep fellside to the wide lake far below, before lifting to the great mountain massif rising in the distance.

Rendered in a loose Impressionist style, the design relies on broken colour and dissolving light rather than rigid outlines. From across a room, energetic daubs of pastel purple, soft blue and earthy ochre resolve perfectly into the sturdy crossing and fading fells, echoing a classic plein-air oil painting.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this print sits beautifully in a hallway or above a desk. A natural wood frame warms the organic landscape, while a white frame highlights the soft pastel tones. Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
