Ashness Bridge is a traditional stone packhorse bridge arching perfectly over a tumbling beck. Walkers and photographers stand at this famous viewpoint to look past the rocky foreground, tracing the fellside as it drops to the lake far below, with an imposing mountain massif rising beyond.

This design reimagines the landscape through mind-bending impossible geometry. Rendered in intricate monochrome ink hatching, the beck’s crags transform into a labyrinth of endless stairways. Below, the lake's surface fractures into a striking tessellation. From across the room, it is a dizzying, surreal puzzle anchored by bold traditional typography.

An absorbing focal point for a study or hallway, this print arrives framed and ready to hang. A black frame sharply defines the deep ink tones, while natural wood offers a softer edge. It forms part of a wider series, ready to collect or hang as a set.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
