Coniston Water is a long straight lake, seen directly down its length from the wooded eastern shore. A small jetty and moored boat sit in the foreground, while the heavy whaleback ridge of the Old Man of Coniston rises steadily along the far side.

This design reimagines the view through the strict grid and primary geometry of the Bauhaus movement. The landscape is reduced to flat, bold shapes in vibrant primary colours. The water becomes a sweeping diagonal block, the boat is built from rigid rectangles, and the fells are abstracted into stark circles and solid triangles.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this is a highly graphic statement piece for a contemporary stairwell or study. A black frame perfectly matches the dark geometries within the design, pinning the primary colours to the wall. Part of a wider modernist series, it hangs beautifully alone or grouped as a set of three.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
