Coniston Water is a long, straight lake drawing the eye down its length. From the wooded eastern shore, visitors look past a small jetty and a solitary moored boat to the magnificent whaleback ridge rising steeply along the far side.

This vibrant design captures the lake in the bold, flat colours of vintage railway posters. Saturated fellsides contrast sharply with brilliant blue water and a crisp sky piled high with stylised clouds. Across a room, the graphic shapes of the wooden jetty and foreground foliage pull you into the scene.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this striking print brings Lakeland colour to a hallway or sitting room wall. The frame looks particularly sharp in white to echo the clouds, or natural wood to complement the trees. Part of a wider collection, it is perfect for building a gallery of favourite views.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
