Seen down its straight length from a wooded eastern shore, Coniston Water presents a dramatic Lakeland profile. A small jetty and moored boat anchor the foreground, leading the eye across the water to where the whaleback ridge of the Old Man of Coniston rises along the far side.

The design reimagines this landscape through the energetic lens of Constructivism. The scene is fractured into hard, slashing diagonals in a striking palette of urgent red, solid black, and stark cream. From across a room, it reads as visual agitation—reducing fell and water to bold, geometric shapes that demand attention.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this assertive print makes a superb focal point in a modern study or stairwell. A black frame perfectly contains the heavy, industrial solids of the design. Part of a wider Constructivist series, it works brilliantly as a solo statement or grouped with complementary prints.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
