Coniston Water is a long, straight lake dominated by its famous whaleback ridge rising along the far side. Seen from a wooded eastern shore, this viewpoint captures deep water and dramatic fells, anchored by a quiet jetty and a moored boat in the foreground.

This design reimagines the scene through playful mid-century stylisation, reducing the landscape to flat, overlapping shapes in a palette of teal, ochre and forest green. The trees use bold geometric forms decorated with tiny, rhythmic dashes, drawing the eye toward the textured, simplified triangles of the distant ridge.

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.
