Looking down the straight expanse of Coniston Water from a wooded eastern shore, this view is familiar to anyone who walks or rows here. A small jetty holds a moored boat in the foreground, while the whaleback ridge of the Old Man of Coniston rises along the far side to define the skyline.

The Muted Modern style reduces this landscape to a chalky minimalism of sand, oat and sage. From across a room, the eye is drawn to the dark silhouette of the boat and jetty against the pale water, anchored by the bold typography spanning the base.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece looks superb in a hallway or study. The earthy palette pairs beautifully with a natural wood frame to enhance its soft tones. As part of a wider series, these prints can be collected or hung as a matching set.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
