The near shore at Buttermere offers one of the valley's defining views. Tall Scots pines stand mirrored in still water, framing the craggy ridge of Haystacks rising steeply behind, while a bare fellside sweeps down to the right. It is a landscape known by heart to valley walkers.

The landscape is reimagined here through strict Bauhaus principles, reduced to primary geometry on a grid. The pines become black verticals capped with red circles against a solid blue lake. Haystacks is forged from jagged red and black triangles, offset by a bold yellow wedge. It commands a room as a striking modernist statement.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this striking print brings graphic energy to a study or stairwell. A black frame perfectly anchors its strong geometric lines and solid colours. Part of a wider Bauhaus series, it works brilliantly alone or collected as a set.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
