Viewed from a wooded eastern shore, Coniston Water is a long, straight lake stretching towards the distant, whaleback ridge of the Old Man of Coniston. A small jetty and moored boat in the foreground mark a quiet starting point for days spent out on the water or exploring the surrounding fells.

This design captures the view through a distinctive layered papercut style. Six planes of colour recede into mist, reducing the landscape to bold, overlapping shapes in calming shades of forest green, teal, and soft blue. From across a room, the careful placement of soft drop-shadows creates a convincing impression of depth, drawing the eye past the sharp silhouettes of the pines to the water.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece brings a striking focal point to a hallway or stairwell. Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
