Coniston Water is a long, straight lake striking deep into the fells. From the wooded eastern shore, the eye is drawn past a small jetty and moored boat towards the towering whaleback ridge rising along the far side.

This Cubist poster fractures the landscape into bold, faceted planes. The terrain is broken into interlocking shapes, viewed from multiple angles to convey the fell's sheer mass. Printed in a flat palette of earthy ochres, muted greens and slate greys, the design distils the scene into striking blocks of colour that read perfectly from across a room.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this graphic print makes a strong statement in a hallway or stairwell. A natural wood frame warms the earthy tones, while black sharply defines the geometric lines. It belongs to a wider series, perfect for hanging alone or collecting as a set of three.

Sizes

30 × 40 cm — 12 × 16 in

45 × 60 cm — 18 × 24 in

50 × 70 cm — 20 × 28 in

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural wood.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

The fells and their reflection fractured into overlapping planes, seen from several angles at once. Ochre, umber, slate and chalk — the landscape analysed rather than described.
