Coniston Water is a long, straight lake that draws walkers and sailors alike. Seen down its length from a wooded eastern shore, the eye is drawn past a small jetty and moored boat towards the great whaleback ridge rising along the far side.

The poster reimagines the landscape through the tactile style of a layered papercut. Built from six distinct planes of cut paper receding into mist, the composition uses crisp edges and soft drop-shadows to build depth. From across a room, these overlapping silhouettes resolve into a striking graphic image, anchored by large vintage typography.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this piece brings Lakeland scale to a stairwell or study. A natural wood frame beautifully complements the deep greens and blues of the water. Part of a wider series, it can stand alone or be grouped to map your favourite corners of the district.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
