Grasmere is a small, perfectly round lake enclosed by steep, sheltering fells. Walkers know its shore path intimately, pausing by the thick reed beds to look out towards the single, densely wooded island resting quietly at its centre.

This mid-century design reduces the landscape to a playful arrangement of flat, graphic shapes. From across a room, the eye is drawn to the bold, vertical rhythm of the bulrushes and the geometric symmetry of the island. Up close, tiny repeated marks add texture to the teal water, sage fells, and warm ochre skies, echoing classic mid-century printmaking.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, this print brings a bold strike of colour to a hallway or holiday cottage sitting room. A natural wood frame complements the earthy greens and rust-toned reeds perfectly. Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
