A small, round lake held in the valley, Grasmere draws walkers down from the high fells to its quiet shore. The eye rests naturally on the single wooded island at its centre, framed by the sweeping shoulders of the enclosing landscape and the sharp, dark silhouettes of the near reed beds.

Reduced to the bold planes of the great railway poster tradition, this design captures a hard winter frost. Heavy slate grey and bright white define the snow-covered terrain above a flat expanse of ice blue water. Read from across a room, the contrast of the dark foreground and a single cold pink sun delivers an immediate graphic punch.

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
