Windermere stretches as a broad, curving expanse between wooded shores. Small islands dot the mid-water, drawing the eye toward serrated peaks on the far horizon. A launch makes its steady crossing, a familiar sight for anyone who has walked the long shoreline or taken to the boats.

The winter railway style reduces this scene to frosted simplicity. Crisp snowbanks and bare trees frame slate and ice-blue water, while peaks rise against a sky banded with cold pink. Anchored by bold typography, it captures the clarity of a Lakeland January, its strong shapes carrying beautifully across a room.

Arriving framed and ready to hang, it brings a crisp focal point to a hallway or sitting room. A white frame highlights the pale skies and snow, while black grounds the bold lettering. Striking alone, it also joins a wider series for collecting favourite Lakeland destinations.

Each size is the printed poster itself; the 20 mm moulding sits outside it. There is no mount — the print runs to the frame, so the whole design is on show.

Paper, frame and glazing

Printed on 200 gsm enhanced matte fine-art paper, chosen for flat colour: no gloss, no reflections, and ink that sits in the sheet rather than on it.

Framed in a 20 mm wide, 24 mm deep solid wood moulding — black, white or natural oak.

Glazed with shatterproof acrylic rather than glass, so a large poster arrives intact.

MDF backing board with hanging fixtures already fitted.

Framed pieces are made and dispatched within 5–10 working days. UK delivery normally takes up to five working days after dispatch; international orders can take up to 28 days.
